This application is for The Big Gay Spring Market, an art and craft market taking place March 15th, 2026. Please note: this event is on a Sunday.
WHEN: SUNDAY, MARCH 15TH, 2026
TIME: 10am-4pm (vendor set up time: 8am-10am)
WHERE: Wisconsin Rugby Club - 448 Clark St, Cottage Grove, WI (vendor entrance)
SETUP TIMES: March 14th (times TBD) and March 15th (8am-10am)
Note: this venue will have both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase.
WHO CAN APPLY: This application is open to makers, crafters, and food sales. Also open to local LGBTQIA+ non-profit organizations. Fair trade vendors and curated vintage vendors considered. This event does not include MLM, Direct Sales, or artificial intelligence (AI) generated art vendors.
THIS SHOW IS CURATED. The goal is to have a diverse offering of products with a solid mix of established vendors and new-to-the-scene vendors. It's also a goal to keep from over saturating any one category. Vendors who were previously wait-listed from other markets or who have not vended in Cottage Grove will be given first preference.
EXPLICIT MATERIAL: if your art or creations contain explicit themes please note that in the application. We will follow up with creators that do have explicit material and discuss what may need content warning covers.
BOOTH FEES:
Our venue has increased their rental fee, and our prices are increasing slightly as a result. If we are able to secure some sponsors for the event, prices may come down when we invoice.
-6x6 indoor: $110
-8x6 indoor: $120
-8x6 indoor corner/end cap: $130
-8x6 outdoor (covered porch): $65
-10x10 outdoor (tent required): $75
-Shared Spaces will be just over half price - you will be guaranteed a full tent front or half a table for a shared space. Please mark that you are willing to share space in the booth assignments below.
**please note: outdoor spaces will NOT be guaranteed. If the weather looks good enough in projections, we will have outdoor booths. If the weather looks bad or too cold, outdoor booths will be cut from our market and you will be refunded. We will make this call a minimum of a week in advance.**

Payment is due upon acceptance. Payment plans can be discussed, as well as payment day-of after sales are made. *We are more interested in having you and settling up with you later than you not being able to participate because of lack of funds!*
COVID-19 POLICY: THE INDOOR COMPONENT OF THIS EVENT WILL BE FULLY MASKED. Vendors and attendees are REQUIRED to mask up indoors. Thank you for your understanding.

A NOTE ABOUT BOOTH FEES AND CANCELLATIONS

If you have any issues with paying your booth fee at all, please contact one of us as soon as you can so we can work something out.
If you drop out of the market earlier than February 14th you will receive a full refund of your booth fee, minus any Wix processing fees.
If you drop out on or before March 1st, you will have 50% of your booth fee refunded, minus any Wix processing fees.
You will forfeit your booth fee if you drop out AFTER March 1st. Extenuating circumstances will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
